The procedure for changing dates on the bar rota is two fold. If you know dates in advance that you will not be available, you should notify these dates to Dawn on email dawn.scott60@gmail.com bearing in mind Dawn plans two or three months in advance. If you find yourself unable to fulfill a duty day once the duty list has been sent out then you should arrange with someone else to cover you and manually change the list in the clubhouse.

 Please, if you can't make the day that you have been allotted bar duty, swap with somebody else. It is not acceptable to just not turn

Start of shift

• Switch on urn or kettles. If they require filling only use bottled water.
• Switch on glass washer (green button)
• Ensure there is milk and spoons on the table

 

                                          During shift

 

• Keep bar clear of empties
• Pick up empties from tables and wipe tables down with anti-bacteria spray
• All empties have to be washed before being sterilised in the glass washer
• Sterilise by closing machine door and pushing red button
• There is no need to dry items once sterilised

 

                                           Before leaving

 

• Fill fridges from store room
• Collect cushions from chairs and tidy outside area
• Wipe down bar area
• Unplug kettles and urn
• Fill urn for next user
• Bring in milk, wipe table and wash used spoons
• If recycling or rubbish is full, put bag outside by bins
