To be played on all or some of the following dates

Monday 27^th April, Wednesday 29^th April, Friday 8^th May Final Sunday 10^th May All AM.

Please note: due to a late booked visiting team these dates are slightly different to those previously advised

Rules of Play
World Bowls Rules will apply if not covered below.
The competition will take the form of a knockout.
Each game shall be played on the days and times scheduled, otherwise defaulting players will forfeit the game.
Two trial ends allowed (max 3 woods).
Toss up for the mat at the beginning of the match. Home team are the

team at the top of the draw.

Format of play. 18 ends
The team’s handicap will be the sum of the individual handicaps of team A minus the sum of the individual handicaps of team B. This handicap has a maximum of 9

E.G. Team A players handicaps of 3, 3 and 6 Team handicap 12

Team B players handicaps of 4, 4, and 8 Team handicap 16 so B would get a 4 point lead.

Team C players handicaps of 2,2 and 3 Team handicap 7

Team D players handicaps of 6,6 and 6 Team handicap 18

Team D would get a lead of 11 points but cut to the maximum of 9

If there is a handicap difference between the 2 teams this will be put on the scoreboard at the conclusion of the first end e. If team 1 has a handicap of 5 and team 2 a handicap of 2 then 5-2=3 so team one gains a 3 points advantage which is added to their score at the conclusion of end 1 together with the score from that end.
Dead ends to be replayed
Score cards must be signed and timed by both skips.
Late arrivals. If the player/players are more than 15 mins late or advises they cannot play, the game will be awarded to their opponent
Postponement due to weather conditions and any subsequent changes to playing times will be the decision of the Competition Secretary or the Captain
