                             The Non Winners Singles Cup

This competition is open to Ladies and Gentlemen who have not previously won a singles competition at Cabrera Lawn Bowling Club

Sept 16^th-Sept 21^st

 Tues pm, Wed am, Thurs pm, Fri am, Sat pm, Sun am

Entry fee €3

Closing date for entry 1/9/25

Whilst it is unlikely that number of entries will mean all 6 possible days needing to be used, please ensure that you are available to PLAY and MARK on all days

The draw will be made by 4/9/25 and actual playing dates will be available then.

Rules of Play

World Bowls Rules will apply if not covered below.

1. The competition will take the form of a knockout.
2. Each game shall be played on the days and times scheduled, otherwise defaulting players with forfeit the game.
3. Two trial ends allowed and each player can decide for themselves how

     many bowls they would like (max. 4 each end).

4. Toss up for the mat at the beginning of each game. The home player is

     the name at the top of the draw,

5. The winner will be the first to 21 shots.
6. You may visit the head after your third bowl.
7. Dead ends to be replayed.
8. Score cards must be signed and timed by both players and returned immediately to the marker.
9. Late arrivals. If a player is more than 15 mins late or advises they cannot play, the game will be awarded to their opponent.
10. Postponement due to weather conditions and any subsequent changes to playing times will be the decision of the Competition Secretary or the Captain
